JOIN THE LEGACY

Loveland’s Winter Holiday Council is now taking artist submissions for its 37th annual cast pewter Christmas ornament! This is your chance to become a part of Loveland History. 

Fine line drawings, photographs and sculptures submitted before December 25th, 2025 will be considered for the contest. Two prize options $200 for design sketch only OR $500 for an ornament sculpture ready to mold with minimal revisions. Winner will also receive the first ornament cast, and their signature will be stamped on the back of every ornament. They will also be granted rights to purchase 10 ornaments at cost for their own use.
Themes may be “religious or secular, serious or funny or showcase something significant to the Loveland community at the holiday season.''
Designs must be able to fit within a 3-by-3-inch box and be no more than 3/16-inch thick. They should also include the words “Merry Christmas,” “2026” and either “Loveland, Colorado” or “Loveland, CO.”
Finished ornaments will be cast in fine silver bearing pewter, antiqued, hand-buffed and boxed. The clear top display box will include a card from the winning artist with their biography and an artistic statement. The ornament is also adorned with a ribbon for outside of the box display. 

Submissions should be sent as a JPG file to WinterHolidayCouncil@gmail.com with “2026 LOVELAND ORNAMENT SUBMISSION” as the subject line and their name, contact information and the size of their design in the email body.
